Productive Day
It is the most gorgeous day and I am just kissing myself for the things I did get done. For some reason yesterday was a tad unproductive home wise.
It is a beautiful perfect fall day of sixty two degrees. I have raked and seeded half of the back yard, washed my car, gotten the laundry caught up cleaned areas of the garage and have three way chili started for dinner. I can only do a little at a time in the yard because the dust and tree pollen stop me up so bad I have trouble clearing my ears but you just can't not be out on a day like today.
I almost wish I had a clothesline up on a day like today because I used to love how the sheets smelled growing up after they had dried on the line outside.
My neighbor, the shifty preacher started blowing leaves and sticks when the weather was so dry that unless you wet your yard first you just blew the topsoil off and make a dust storm. He gets up about ten am and then when we are sitting down to a quiet evening is when he starts using the blower.
To the ones who don't know his story, he was asking a body shop for kickbacks of one hundred extra dollars if he sent his congregation to them. I know because we owned the building of the guy who used to work there. He is surely going to Hell for this. A man of the cloth scamming the congregation. But probably so am I because sometimes I go outside and use my blower on the end he lives on at seven am.
My neighbor said he had the audacity to steal wood from them last winter. They have a gated yard and cut their own wood. They work very hard and help a lot of people but boy were they mad when they saw him sneak in and carry off wood last year. Ya just gotta love a good scam artist.
One day I was out enjoying one of our first cooler days and he came out and started blowing his dirt around. He has a sprinkler system but never uses it so his yard is in pretty bad shape and don't tell me he can't afford it. He must have some other pretty good scams going because he just bought himself a new jeep. Anyway he just got closer and closer to my back yard. Instead of going out there and raking away from the edges he just blows and blows and blows that damn blower. I looked up and there was this ton of dust coming down on my head. I got up and yelled HEY! And jerked my arm up to let him know he was dusting me and he smiled and waved. IDIOT! He thought I was waving. Well, then I got tickled and started laughing and just shook my head and came inside. I even had dirt in my teeth.
Some Links
Flaming Pear: Download, is a free demo download. In other words you have I think thirty days to play with it and see if you like it. This is really a cool plugin for effects in paint shop. I have just had a blast with it. Be sure and read the download instructions.
Brushes for paintshop;
Moon Designs: These are for psp 7 and 8 but I have x and imported them. There are instructions on how to do this. Sometimes you can unzip some files to the brushes file but they don't show up so you have to open your psp program and manually import them.
Deviant Art : Has tons of brushes from different people. Most of these brush sites ask for a link back. I usually put the link on the bottom of my background, since we can't do links on backgrounds. I have been making my own brushes lately and it is easy and fun. I may give a little tutorial on it. I could spend hours just making them. You can also make your own tubes.
Athens/Delphi Geocities Site: Brushes and Tubes
Eyecandee: Brushes
Graphic Grotto: Free bird images
Ok, I have to stop now. For some reason my browser gets tired of looking up things for me and just quits occasionally but I will try and get some more up next time.
