School Days

I got the chance to sit and watch kids going to lunch break at a school this week. It was a small school so it had grades K-High School, so I observed all ages. They had to go across the school parking lot because their lunch room was separate from the main part of the school.
I observed all ages and what I saw were my classmates of the past and my kids classmates. The little ones were so cute. The were running, stumbling, kicking rocks, waving their arms, and patting each other. The older ones, I would say this group was maybe 5th -8th graders were, running, calling each other names. This age paired off more. Girls with girls and boys with boys. Some of the girls had their heads together telling secrets and laughing. The girls looked more mature than the boys at this age and acted more mature too. There were skinny ones, fat ones. Some racing each other to the lunch room. I also noticed this age boy has to always be touching something; messing with stuff. If there is something loose somewhere you can bet this age boy will be trying to pull it off, out or down. This age also seemed totally enthralled with bodily functions.
Then there are the highschool kids. They are generally a lot louder, both boys and girls. There are your jocks, your cheerleaders. Girls wearing makeup now and boys worried more about their hair and physical appearance. This age, the boys are showing out more for the girls than each other. And the girls giggle and act silly. This age boy also run up and tackle and beat on each other and jump up on the school walls. I notice there is also doing some boy girl pairing up.
What I am trying to say is all in all, across the country, most schools consist of normal, well rounded kids. Kids that are the same and do the same things that kids were doing when I was growing up. I must say that in this day of lockdowns and shootings and attempted shootings I think that is a very small % of trouble and it was quite comforting to see all that normalcy. I think I even saw me in there.

Why is it you always have one normal eyebrow that always looks good and your other one is spazzed out?

I don't remember where the picture up top came from but I will figure it out and put it in here. It was a neat site that had code for moving things. I got it from one of you.
