Me and My Girls

Me and the girls were talking the other day. (yes I know that is incorrect English) Oh, you want to meet the girls? I guess that's ok. I need to give you a little background too. Sorry if the picture is a little fuzzy.
Barbie
What? What were you expecting? Anyway, as I was saying I thought I would give you a little history. A couple of weeks ago I saved the girls from the fate of asphyxiation in a plastic bag. I wen junking with a friend and of all the junk, the girls just drew me like a magnet. I walked past them and then thought I heard little voices gasping, "Save me, take me home," so I picked them up and vented the bag a little. There was a note on the bag, "Do not open bag", some serial Barbie killer no doubt.
I have adopted them and have tried to get the unruly hair out of their eyes. I think next some inexpensive clothes are in order. I think they can help me blog. They probably have better topics too.
What possessed me to save them is the fact that my mom threw out all my old Barbies or gave them away. My friend thought I was nuts but it is a piece of my past lost. I still don't know why my mom gave them away. We had two or three each with suitcases full of clothes. My mom crocheted them beautiful Southern Belle type clothes. They had shoes, purses, hats, stuffed animals, beds, and troll doll neighbors. She put a lot of time into the clothes she made and they fit like the store bought ones. Junk to her I guess.
Because of this I have kept everything of our kids. Whatever they don't have at their homes is in my attic. We still have my daughter's Barbies and dolls and a doll bed of mine that my mom did keep.
I was saving them for a grand-daughter but since oggie had a boy I guess they won't be played with much. I will get the Barbie house down for these Barbies and maybe my grandson will play with them. I don't think there is anything wrong with a boy playing with dolls. I will throw a Ken in there and I can play with him.
I think maybe I just wanted to let my inner child out to play for awhile.
While I am talking to the girls I will send you to you tube to see the most amazing child. I got the link in email. It's about a child prodigy named Akiane if you haven't heard of her she is a self taught artist who picked up a paint brush when she was 4. She has amazing art.
