Random Thoughts at Halloween and Ms Crystal

I found out a day late I was within 30 minutes of Crystal during vacation. I thought she was ahead of me and she was where we had already been. I was just sick! Just hurl that pick woman and stab me now. AAKKKKKKK, but I will be back that direction and we can have that margarita or you can come to the camper for coffee. I would love that.

There are scary movies on AMC all day. While working around here Halloween I, II and III have been on. Love that Jason. The spook that will never die. Although III wasn't about Jason. Anyway I have always loved scary shows. Not gory. I think with Saw and the new movies they are too graphic. I love the implied horror, you know like seeing the drill but not really seeing it go into the head? lol

We went to the scariest spook house in Florida one year and I don't remember where it was but we were visiting my aunt. They took us to this really great town square in a little. This old spook house was in a three story building and there were no stairs and total blackness. You had to hold the person in front of you by the shoulders and shuffle through. It was so scary I have never been to another one since. I think it was the total blackness and being held onto so you couldn't run screaming down the hall. hahaha I know by the time we got to the end everyone was shuffle running their asses off and screaming. My daughter was crying, I was scared spitless. They take a group picture as you run out the door into the light and you should have seen the faces on all of us.

When I used to trick or treat and was about 13, I was always the tallest one in my class, I would go to the door and a couple of people made comments about wasn't I too old to trick or treat. After that and having my feelings hurt I would crouch down or stand on a lower step than everyone else. Some people make such thoughtless remarks. We have big boys and girls. High school kids that come to the door.

My parents used to dress up to pass out candy. My dad dressed like a woman, that was his favorite costume, and my mom either dressed like a man or a clown. Dad played scary music one year and scared all the little kids. They wouldn't even come to the door.

Sometimes after trick or treating or at slumber parties my mom would take us to paper our boyfriends houses. She was the get-a-way driver. I had a fun childhood and did the same stuff for my kids.

Slim gave me this cute snail windchime. Isn't it cute? I love the way it looks kind of rustic. Thanks Slim you're the greatest!

Happy Halloween everyone.
