Ah, Another Day Another Fuzzy Thought

It must be going around. I don't know if it's the weather or the holidays coming up. No one is blogging very much. Like Eph, I have a lot of things going on in my head but can't seem to focus enough to want to blog on anything in particular.

There are some new shows I just started watching. One is "Life" and it is really good.

The main character on the show meditates and this was on the show. I looked it up and came up with different pholosphers but couldn't find who said this. But I love it:

Another is "Women's Murder Club". I got tired of all the old shows and haven't watched tv at all in the past six months but in the last couple of weeks have gotten involved in these.

I also watched the program about the little girl, Madeleine McCann that is still missing. I swear people are stupid! What set of parents would go to a party during vacation and drink and leave their three very small children up the street in an unlocked holiday apartment?

I just can't believe anyone in this day and age would leave their babies alone anywhere.

I got most of my Thanksgiving dinner rounded up. The day I went was supposed to be warm until a cold front was supposed to come in, in the afternoon. It was cold, the wind was blowing a gale and by the time I got home I looked like I had stepped in a puddle and someone had touched a cattle prod to my head. I am going to have to wear a bun or get woo's head/neck warmers to tame this hair down. I sneezed the rest of the day and felt like I was coming down with a cold for a couple of days. But I guess I dodged that bullet because all the symptoms are gone. I never know how to dress. It is supposed to be in the 70's today and it is 50. It was supposed to be cold a couple of days ago and it was in the 60's. You would think with the millions that is spent on weather paraphanalia the weather men could get it right just one time.

I went over to 360 and looked at the blogs of the people on my list who are still there. I am thinking that even if yahoo comes up with something we would like if it is in beta I may be staying here. You would think they could at least give you something to use during this time that worked and made it worth your time to stay. I swear I would never run a business that way and leave my loyal clients just hanging and it really ticks me off they think everyone is going to hang around for them. The only reason I have gone back so far is for the die hard 360ers. I am thinking yahoo is really arrogant and don't see how their new big blog and social site could be any better than one of a dozen.

Another thing, all my multiply alerts that I want to get are going in to the bulk folder in my yahoo mail. Every one of them. I have made filters for them and they are still going in bulk. A mistake? I think not. So check your bulk mail if you are wanting to get alerts and aren't. It likely isn't Multiplys fault. I am getting all the Multiply alerts in gmail for my background site.

Puye Indian Ruins

The Indians have a huge entrance into this site. You have to buy a ticket just to go into the area with the information about the ruins that is right below it. We didn't go into the ruins but got permission to photograph the information you see here and the ruins from below. There were 150 school kids ahead of us and it would have been several hours wait. I wanted to get to the falls that day so we opted out. I have been to Mesa Verde (pictures here: http://tinyurl.com/64cdkn ) three times and it is my favorite. We have also been to Canyon De Chelly which is another favorite and I swear in Canyon De Chelly(pronounced De Shay) you could feel the Indian spirit there. ARRRGGG Kind Of Morning

Me: Gas company?  I want to make sure the new renters at such and such addy have gas on so I can stop it in my name.  Bill sent to this addy. My addy which is blah blah blah. Gas: No, they have not called but we can end your service, tomorrow, Wed. and send a final bill to your billing addy, gives addy. Me: Thank you Today P: I saw a gas guy out in front of the house as I was leaving and I smell gas. Me: Damn damn damn! Me: Ring ring, gas company, you shut the gas off at the WRONG ADDRESS! I think there is a gas leak. Gas: We will get someone out there but you have to call another number to start it up again. Me: You can't transfer me? Gas: No Me: Ring ring, I called about gas leak but they say I have to call you to get it back on.  You turned off gas at wrong address.  Explain explain explain Gas: After they check the leak we will have to set you up to get it turned back on and there will be an activation fee. Just some things I have been doing.  I don't expect anyone to understand it but it is a messy art mostly made up from junk around the house with some embellishments. I am taking a class for fun that is free on line.  Jennibelli journal workshop here . It's a ning site so you have to sign up somewhere to join if you are interested but this gal has a Youtube site with all her free videos on it. I started this project as a way to save all the old odds and ends pictures I have but it has become more about the art and allowing myself to be messy. It's all about taking old paint, scraps of paper and pulling them into some form of cohesion to express yourself.  And it's loads of fun.  Now if I just had more time in the day.
