Seamless Tile

Some people seem to be confused as to what a seamless tile is.  I thought I would take a couple of screen shots and show you the difference in a seamed and seamless tile.  In the first screen shot you see a tile with a flower.  It is not a seamless tile.  If you look you can see where there is the picture in the middle of a tile.  When you use this for a background you will be able to see where one tile butts up against another.  That is not a seamlesss tile because you can see where one tile starts and another one ends.
In the next screen shot I have made the tile seamless. You can see that when this tile is on a page the flowers and the background are made seamless or each picture isn't in the center of a tile with an edge.  The edges are blended.

In PSP X, the graphics program I have, you go to the top tool bar to
Effects-Image Effects-Seamless tile.  All programs are a little different so you might have to read the help files or look through your tool bar.  I found out that there isn't a seamless tile effect in PSP 7, but if you are able to download a plugin which in my program are also in effects there is a plugin here you can download. Put it in a folder  named  plugins and  go to your program and  make a path  for it to follow to the new plugin.  This should also be in your program help files.
If you don't have a program or don't care to learn graphics.  We make all our tiles at Easy Themes seamless so all you have to do is click on the tile you want.  Right click, save to your computer and upload to your background.

We also have a tutorial for that here as well.  How to get your tile on your background.   Here is the tile all done.  If you would like to use it just right click and save to your computer.    Tutorial by Osuzana-If you would like to use this tut credit for it would be nice.  Just a thought.
