Customer Service-old 360 post

It seems like every time you go out these days that nothing is easy. You go to a store and they don't have something you need or you can't find anyone to help you or worse yet is; you do and they don't know what you are talking about or don't care. Is the younger generation just ignorant or are they apathetic, or just pathetic? I am not talking kids, I am talking about people in their early twenty's and early 30's.

This is not what I started out to write about today but as I sat down I was thinking of an incident in WalMart. I seem to be in WalMart a lot and this seems to happen more there than anywhere else.

My friend was looking for a 2-line phone for their business. So we went to check out WalMart because they had one online for 45 dollars. We go to electronics and there are three people standing there talking among themselves. A guy and two girls. I say girls because they both look in their 20's and school is still in so I have to think they at least had enough smarts to graduate from high-school.

Since they weren't forth coming with a hi, can I help you, we just started looking around them. They also have a large ladder there but are not using it for anything but a prop. I guess in case a manager comes by it makes them look more industrious. We look for five minutes or so and they still are talking, never looking our direction even though we are looking between their legs and under their armpits at the phones. Finally we say, "Excuse us but do you have any two line phones?" They look at us like they just woke up from a long winter's nap and the look says, phones? what phones? Oh, well what do you know there are phones right here and I guess I am not at the local bar, and you must be customers. So they start looking at the shelves and reading the boxes. Geez!!!! I am growing leg hair I have been standing there so long. By that time we had already decided there were no two line phones and just wanted to roust them out of their stagnant positions.

What is wrong? Why are people like this? Do they not have to work for a living? Are they still living at home? I just don't get it. I have started ordering a lot of things from home because I have this trouble so much in town. It isn't every where. I really am nice to people, maybe I am too nice. Maybe I need to show some fangs and salavate. In the end they had no two line phones.

We had to go to an office store and there was nothing under 79 dollars. That is another thing. Why do they carry all this stuff online but you can't find it in a store anywhere? And it is usually cheaper. I have been informed again that they are pushing the delivery of my new computer back from the 7th then the 10th to the 28th, do I still want it? Yes!! I have a short part of my life invested in waiting for this computer.
It was such day, I was thinking for a nano second of trying to squeeze some pottery in today. Well, forget that. Mom had been sick so I was going to take her some soup. Car broke down. Sat for an hour waiting for the tow truck. At least I was only about 3 miles from where I had to have it taken. And the tow guy from Quacked Up Towing, (don't ask because I don't know, quacked, cracked?), but he was pretty funny. My daughter came and got me and took me home. It is four now. This all happened about noon and they still haven't gotten to my car so I guess I may not know anything until monday. Do I sound like I am bitching? Well, I'm not, I just want some answers, or maybe I am and want some answers. Does anyone out there know the meaning of life or where I can just get a little help?

The meaning of life is problems. If you have them, you know you have life! Young people today were brought up thinking they have no accountability. They do not strive for excellence because schools teach them they are no better or worse than their peers. They dumb down the intelligent ones and curve the ones with problems. Show those fangs and get the treatment you deserve! You'll be doing them a favor.
