Car Dealing 2

Car Dealing 2-Happy Holiday Weekend

We have been back to the car lot twice now. They told us the second time they needed us to sign something they forgot. The odometer paper.

After Forrest, that is, mistook MrP for a salesman at the lot. This guys name is Forrest. I call him Forrest Gump. We found out the salesman that they thought MrP was, was going to get fired. They thought he might not be a wise choice to work there. First he got sunburned and he is also an older guy. I think they were just afraid of a lawsuit. When they told him he couldn't work there any more they said he got tears in his eyes and begged for the job. How sad is that? Bad burn on his face and begging for the job. So he is still working there.

But it got around the lot that MrP went in and really kept him going on the interview so when we went back, we saw Forrest walking across the parking lot and he said, "Mr. XXXXX, I am never going to forget you now. I will remember you for the rest of my life and these guys will never let me forget.

I had my" Lucy 5 Cents " sign on and Forrest proceeded to tell me that they had 3 month old twins. One on a heart monitor and one with a colostomy bag. He said they would both be ok but were going through colic. So he would work ten hours at the dealership and go home and help with colicky babies. I really felt kind of sorry for him. He even said he was paying for the apartment below him for his wife's sister to live in and help but she had school three times a week.

Then we talked to the actual guy we were working with and he told us about his trip to another town today, and we found out we had a mutual aquaintance.

He has three teenagers, and we know what they are doing and one has a baby and a boyfriend named stupid. They pay for the house the one with the baby stays in and stupid can visit as long as she(the daughter) goes to school. One is going to start driving and is a total klutz and airhead and runs into walls so he is afraid to let her get in the car.

They bought a van from a guy who had a deli and four or five cars on the side and the first day they drove the van the transmission fell out. They had to take him to small claims court. I won't go into detail but we got the whole scoop on that. Now, I don't know about you but I don't think it would be a great idea to buy a car from a guy who had a dual deli/car business.

Anyway this has been a week. We just got home and I am beat. We are staying at home during the holiday and going out of town for three days after the holiday.

What are you all doing with your holiday? I hope it is hurricane free for those of you in those areas. I figure some will be out running around. I could tell by the traffic today that about half are going to the lake. I have never seen so many boats and jet skis and pontoons. I was stuck in traffic on the highway at 3:30 today. I hope you are all safe and take care out there. You watch out for the crazys. Or if you are one of them, watch out for us normal people. OH YEAH! I'm one of the normal ones.

I don't think we're doing anything at all this weekend.
I would have felt sorry for that guy, too.

Ok Cathy, I am at least as normal as you. Wait....that didn't come out right.
Slim, LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO, honey, it's just the week you've had. Take a shot of something and come see me in the morning.
I don't think we are either Yardy. Yeah, that guy must have been in his late 50's, and was still really red from the burn.

Oh, Yardy you meant about the guy with the twins. Yeah, that would be really bad with babies having all that stuff going on and two no less!

rofl....... THAT, is one of the reasons that I normally state what I want, and send Zilla to return with it. I hate car dealerships, I hate car salesmen, and I hate the haggling.

I didn't have to haggle for Rubii. He laid out what it was, I said yes or no. He stated the price, I said yes or no. I bought her, then the tran seal went out, he gave me back some money. Something about having his neck between my hands........ rofl.

Not really. He is just an honest above board guy, and felt bad so he kicked me back two hundred bucks to fix it.

Sounds like you had a full week. This weekend I'm putting up a fence around the pool, for the puppies containment. I swear it's like raising children all over again. Get some rest girl and have an enjoyable weekend.

Very funny D...hahaha. Well I am thinking about printing them up for posterity, whoever that is. lol
Thanks Dar. I hear you on that. We just lost our last pet not long ago, except for the remaining fish that my daughter picked out 10 years ago. Yes ten year old goldfish. I tell ya, I can keep things alive forever. But I never realized how much time we spent on the animals. Yours probably have some special needs too.

I'm kinda sad for the redfaced soon to be unemployed guy..

I would have felt sorry for the guy with the colicky babies. My youngest had colic and I just knew I was going to be on the Oprah shot wearing an orange jumpsuit explaining to the audience WHY I threw my baby off a bridge and was OK with it.

I'm in Texarkana this weekend visiting my kids and family. Funny thing though, I'm home alone tonight as the boys had plans and my parents went out. Next week, I'm flying to San Diego to see my best friend Mary, and have lunch with Darlene. (PureVizhun) Is that cool or what? :)

Have a great weekend, Red. XOXOX

Russ you gotta do any road blocks this weekend? I have seen tons of police and highway patrol already. I was sad too. We saw him and he didn't look so good. I have just been kind of sad in general lately. Man's inhumanity to man and all that. Have a relaxing rest of the holiday. If that is possible with giggly girls. lol

LMAO, Kerri, I had a bad one too! I was working up to ten hours on my feet and I would fall asleep in the chair with her in the wee hours of the am. I am surprised I didn't drop her.

Weird to be by yourself isn't it? I hope you have a wonderful time. That just sounds like so much fun! Darlene is just the greatest.
