My Happy Weekend

I got up Saturday morning and broke my middle fingernail off at the quick. It didn't start hurting until around ten in the morning. I guess I did it sometime in the night. Probably while sleep walking. Or maybe the day before while planting. I'll have to check the inside of that gardening glove. That was probably when it was because I had the glove on backwards. This was because I couldn't find the left hand glove, and needed a glove on my left hand.

MrP and I went running around and then went and got Mr. Cute Baby to take home while his parents went to a very long wedding. We had him for seven hours and he didn't stop but for a nano second to lay his head on the floor about every hour. I know MrP and I are exciting to be around but come on kid...give me a break. MrP had the golf game on and slept through about two hours of the first part of baby sitting. Every now and then Mr. Cute Baby would get real close to his face and say "I" (hi), and MrP would wake up and smile and go right back to sleep. Good thing I didn't leave them alone together. When MrP woke up he dedcided to make up songs for the baby and they would dance together. If you ever heard MrP sing you would know this is more a form of torture than anything else. They both do the Elaine dance and jerk their shoulders around. I was in tears I laughed so hard. The kid likes to slam cabinets and doors and MrP lets him and actually laughs. Now I know none of his kids would have gotten away with that.
His mom and dad came and got him and I felt like every bone in my body was sore until I got a shower. Now I have to spend about three hours wiping finger prints off things.

MrP has an aversion to staying at home. He just cannot do it. So we were gone all afternoon and stopped in Chilis to get dinner. I can't tell you how long it has been since we ate out in a restaurant. We grab a taco but I really, really, wanted some good onion rings, and carne asada (I know Daelyn and Eric, it's meat, I just couldn't help myself) So we got the awesome blossom and I actually got an El Nino Margarita. And believe me, it goes through you like a hurricane. I had only had a few sips and started getting hot. It was really strong and the glass was as big as my face. When I got flushed and said either the spices were getting to me or the drink, MrP just laughed and laughed. When I was commenting on the big glass he told me I had a big ring around my face from the glass. Whoooo, Can you tell I don't drink any more? Glad he was my designated driver. He laughed at me all the way home. I don't think I was that funny.

I ate so much, which I have totally quit doing these days, I felt like Shamu. I may have to change my ID. No comments about my blow hole please...

So we waddle into the house and get settled and I go outside and check on the water I have been leaving for this stray cat. It is so dry the water dries up quickly. I reach down and check the water and as I am coming inside I scratch my eye and I think an ant got in my eye! It really burned and is swollen now. I couldn't get it out. I ran water in it and then got eyewash and finally got whatever it was out but now it feels weird. Is there a doctor in the house? Can you die from an ant bite to the inside of the eyelid?

Which reminds me and I don't know why, just thinking about the day but when I was in the restaurant I was looking at the people and thinking...does that woman over there blog? (sad, I know) I bet that guy blogs. He was sitting at the table and had eaten by himself. Looked like he was doing some work. Then the waitress came and had to explain the whole dessert menu to him. Then he wanted her to tell him how much each item cost and what were the ingredients. I don't know about you but if I want dessert and it has the word chocolate in it I don't care what else is in it or how much it costs, just bring it on. I bet he is going to write that whole experience in a blog. Hey! Just like I am doing. Glad he was there for me.

are you sure that's an ant bite? or did you scratch the eye? You might want to have it looked at... Zilla did that recently.
Glad you had a HOT weekend lol.

Yardy if little ones wear you out I won't worry so much about how I feel. Makes me feel better.
cole I don't know if he blogs or not but it would have been some good material.
D Stealth blog...lol, you always make me laugh. Yes I definately think my Karma is biting me in the butt, concerning the ant. I forget when you put background on you have to highlight and make your print a color. Eric figured out and told me if you have a dark theme background your default print is alway white. And default on light is always black. He and Daelyn do html.
bonii, I'm pretty sure because as soon as I got it out I had relief. I will give it 24 hours.
Z Frog Oh no...a difficult contract. Could I help with that? hehehe
Froggies Mom Thanks, and glad you are here. You are most welcome. You know that saying...any friend of frogs is a friend of mine. I almost trust her completely.
Jennifer Thanks, I know out of all those episodes it is my favorite. The eye is already better. Just kind of itchy.

Sounds like you had a nice dinner~ meat & all. ;-) I love Margaritas, especially Strawberry ones, but cant even remember the last time I had one! I would be knocked on my booty if I drank on that was the size of my face. Maybe that guy at dinner is blogging about you and your giant El Nino. LOL

Hope your eye and finger feel better!

Christmas Lights~ That house was featured in a Miller Light holiday commercial. We just loved it! www.friscochristmas.com has some awesome displays! :-) Scroll down the page for the videos.

That commercial was even more entertaining if you were drinking a margarita the size of your face or a pack of Miller Light. I think with that much tequila in your system I can see why its called the El Nino. A storm would definitely be brewing lol

Lori-birds of a feather I tell ya
Bon-I would love it if it wasn't too loud
Daelyn-it pretty much did knock me on my keister, and it had orange juice in it. You should go to chilis. You can even make your own. Of course you would have to have a designated driver. That would be too funny if he blogged about me. I better start working up my El Nino act for the road. Eye and finger are better thank you and thanks for the www.
Eric-I see you have something weird on your head again. You are right about a storm brewing. I haven't had but one beer since New Years. Hoo Ha
Donna-Well thankyou that is so sweet of you to say. Makes my life worth living. I love coming to your house...so to speak.
Ruby-I am glad to see you are up and around again. And thanks about the pic. I love her too. I am the same way in the am. Don't even want to talk to anyone for the first ten or fifteen min.
sassi-how many ways can I say adorable about this kid. His mom gets mad because we spoil him.
Red Dragon-can't wait to see that. I would love it if someone would put it up and take it down. I hear in some states there are people that will do that for a price. I don't think I have the smarts to do it on my own.
