Running Through My Head
Image by .jon's photos. via Flickr Running Through My HeadEvery night when I lay down to go to sleep I have all this detritus flying around in my head. I was giggling at hyiidra's entry that had all these one line sentences of things going through her head but we all have them, admit it. Even Ellen Degeneres has them because she did a whole routine around this subject.
I made the mistake of having two cups of coffee about an hour before bed so the little caffeine bugs were sloshing around not letting me sleep but repeating things over and over.
Oh, I love you, I love you, I love you-I just wanna hold you
gee I hope I forgot to unplug everything important (storm last night)
I wonder about that hair thing too, when is a woman too old to have long hair
I bet b's hair would look really good in a loose braid with her curls loose around her face
I'll have to remember to email her
I see some people who don't take care of their hair that look like old hags.
Cause, deeper and deeper, in love with you I'm falling
I haven't seen that guy that does those Barry White songs on P's page in a long time
Why is Barry White Stuck in my head?
I saw that woman that had about 6 inches of gray hair the other day and the rest ash brown yuk
Sweeter and sweeter, hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm mm
Gee, why the heck do they have to take a planet away
That is just the silliest thing I have heard in a long time
I just wanna hold you
I like listening to the rain, I hope it rains all night
We sure need this rain
My brain is beginning to hurt
Deeper and deeper
I kind of like Barry White
But I like Al Green better
OOOOh good blog question
Who is an artist whose songs you liked from an earlier era than your own
Al Green is just classic
Gee I miss all the old songs
I have all those cassettes and what am I going to do with them
Wish I had some sort of device for moving them to a CD
I'm gonna love you, love you, love you,
I'm gonna love you, love you, loveyou,
I'm gonna love you, love you, love you,
I'm gonna love you, love you, love you.....................................................
Who's your favorite singing artist from another era and what goes through your head?

Well I was looking for my rambly one and I can't find it lol. Prolly cause I just talk to much in general.
On the Sirius comedy channel, Ellen D did a skit about random thoughts and I laughed and laughed because I could totally relate. James will ask me sometimes what I'm thinking about it and it's the most random crap, I'm embarrassed to even share. So, I say, you really don't want to know :)). I shared it with him one time and he looked at me like I was nuts.

At least you have a good reason to be that way. Caffeine before bedtime is not a good thing. lol My mind races around like that at bed time most nights. I think tha's why I don't ever want to go to bed. LOL

so funny - my brain works exactly like that - sometimes even in important meetings and while I'm at church...oops.
I often catch myself with old 80's songs in my head. I've found YouTube is a good purge when "I wanna be a Cowboy" or "Mexican Radio" or even "I'm Too sexy for my Shirt" gets in my gray matter.

lol Dub, I have never done meth, but I don't have to do I? People already think I'm high.
Cathy, I heard her do one about laying down at night and thinking the same kind of stuff. She is a riot. I know. There was more but not all of it is of interest. rofl
I agree Yardy and then it is so quiet after everyone goes to bed. I really like that time of night. I wish I didn't have to sleep at all.
Hey fred, glad you came by, I know about the milk but I just can't tolerate milk. I don't do the coffee very often but I still have the jumble of thoughts. MrP just drops right off. I don't know what lynn is doing. I guess she needed some time and her kids both had to get ready for school. I think they travel quite a bit.
OMG Tammy! Too Sexy is one that does that to me to. I usually have to get up and dance to that one. But I would never do it in church. lol I am the same way and also do it like hyiidra, while driving. Unless I am doing something that needs total focus I have constant thoughts.

etta james baby....... it's etta james..... before my time, but in my soul.
Barry White, Al Green, Marvin Gay (ok so he was in my time but not long).
IS IT ME YOU LOVE??????? roflmaoooooooooooo. I miss you! By the damn time I get home, and get things situated, and spend forty five minutes picking up after everyone, I can't get to the computer, then it's study study study, then crash and burn. I was hoping to catch you and Woo, and Dub Saturday, but I had so damn much to do. Getting back into the swing of things is going to take a bit longer than I thought.
DON'T FORGET ABOUT ME(insert sobbing face)

lol.. IF I were to begin to put what goes through my head into a written form, I'd most certainly be placed into a hospital for a mandated evaluation.
Oddly.. I like the crooners.. Sinatra or Perry Como.. (if ANYONE says one word to my children that I admitted that I shall HAUNT you)

Well, Rizzo what can you expect? I am a hairstylist. That is what I think about.
Hahaha, Russ, I love Perry Como. My mom was absolutely in love with him so we heard him all the time. Oh, tell us what is in your head. That would make a novel blog. Bedtime Head With Russ. rofl!

I can so relate Red, just like everyone else! Usually, when I'm not talking, I am going through a thought process similiar to this (especially if I am in the car). Rhain-man will ask me what I'm thinking about, and I'm too embarrassed to admit it, so I just tell him "Nothing." He hates that. rofl
Because I have found that current music and radio sucks, I listen to the classic rock and oldies stations. This irriates the hell out of my family, but I don't care. I love 40s swing, 50s rock, and most everything from the 60s. I think my top fave is The Beatles. I could lisen to them most any time.
